All GreyLink devices are covered for 5 years under your agreed operating conditions. If the device fails through normal operation within that period, we will repair or replace it - no questions asked.

Unlike off-the-shelf products, every GreyLink device is custom-built for your specific application - whether that's a borehole pump running 18 hours a day, a temperature sensor in a −20 °C cold room, or a power meter strapped to a high-vibration motor.
At commissioning, we document your exact operating conditions together. Those agreed conditions become your warranty baseline - so there is never any ambiguity about what is covered. You are not held to a generic one-size-fits-all definition. Your use case is your warranty.
What the warranty covers
The warranty applies to hardware failures under the operating conditions agreed at commissioning - which includes an environmental risk assessment covering acts of nature. The following are the key principles.

Our sunsetting commitment
Should GreyLink IOT ever cease to exist, or discontinue support for your particular device, we commit to releasing the full schematics, firmware, and server-side code and documentation for that device - free of charge, and in a form usable by you or a third party.
Our goal is simple: the device you bought should keep working for you, on your terms, even if GreyLink is no longer the one keeping it running.
